Welcome to Leroma Trade! We’re a family-run business, proudly based in Scotland, with strong roots in Ukraine. Our mission is simple – to bring the finest, high-quality frozen bakery products from Ukraine to Scotland and the wider UK market. Through our partnership with Concern Khlibprom, one of Ukraine’s largest and most established bread producers, we’re excited to share the taste of traditional Ukrainian bakery with our customers here in the UK.
Our Story
Leroma Trade was born out of a deep love for family and tradition. In 2022, our family was forced to flee the war in Ukraine, taking refuge in the UK. We found a warm and welcoming home with a lovely Scottish family who hosted us for 11 months, giving us the strength and inspiration to establish our company here. Our name, Leroma, is especially meaningful to us as it represents the first letters of our children’s names: Levko, Roman, and Marta, symbolizing the heart of our family and our commitment to delivering the very best to our customers.
A Strong Partnership with Concern Khlibprom
Through our representative rights with Concern Khlibprom, we bring you products from a company with a rich history. Founded over a century ago, Khlibprom has become a cornerstone of the Ukrainian bread market. The company produces up to 160 tons of high-quality bread, bakery, and confectionery products daily. Their flagship Lviv bread-baking plant, established in 1908, is renowned for its century-old tradition of crafting delicious bread with a unique, homelike taste. This long-standing expertise ensures that every loaf, pastry, and cake meets the highest standards of quality.
Supporting Ukraine and Building Bridges
At Leroma Trade, we understand the importance of supporting our homeland, especially in these challenging times. Agrola, another initiative we proudly support, is focused on providing aid to Ukrainian defenders and their families, emphasizing gratitude and solidarity. Through charity campaigns, such as purchasing Agrola products marked with “Unbroken like you,” we help contribute to the ongoing recovery and support for our military heroes.
Our commitment extends beyond delivering high-quality products. We aim to help Ukrainian companies maintain their presence in the global market, especially those who have lost customers due to the ongoing conflict. By building a bridge between Ukraine and Great Britain, we’re offering a taste of Ukrainian tradition while supporting local businesses and communities during difficult times.
